Metal Obsession – A DVD Documentary

ROXX Records is very excited to be a part of the first installment of a brand new documentary series entitled Metal Obsession. Ever wonder what life was like through the eyes of a metalhead? Or even better an over-zealous heavy metal fan and their collection? Well now you can visit deep into the heart of some metal fans from around the world as we take a special journey into the lives and the collections of some of the world’s most die-hard heavy metal fans.

Join us as we explore deep into their minds, lives and personal collections as we find out their likes, dislikes and what makes them rock. Explore many rare treasures from vinyl records, CDs, tapes, and all kinds of metal music from all over the world. As well as exploring the music catalogs from many mainstream artists you will also get to hear about many rare and obscure titles that may boggle your mind and get you thinking ‘man I have got to find that for my own personal collection.’

Featuring many collectors and fans from all over the world, including Scott Waters (Ultimatum / Once Dead), an avid collector, fan and heavy metal artist himself. Scott had this to say about the release “There are many documentaries about the people who make the music. This is a documentary about the people who love the music. It’s the who, what, when, where and why of our obsession with collecting heavy metal records.”

Corey Johnson also an avid collector, fan and producer of this documentary had this to say about the release “This isn’t Behind the Music, this is behind the people. If this DVD does one thing it shows us that no matter what country or continent you live on, we are all the same. Music will always be a common denominator connecting us all, but for some of us that love and passion comes by way of one of the most criticized, frowned upon musical genre’s ever, Heavy Metal!

So Cal Metal Fest is coming to Irvine

Southern California are you ready for this? Sacrivox Productions is very excited to bring you the very first So Cal Metal Fest coming to Irvine, California Saturday April 23, 2016. Get ready for a night of great Christian Metal and fellowship! Featuring the long awaited return of Bloodgood featuring special guest artists Terry Russell (Holy Soldier) on drums and Larry Farkas (Vengeance Rising, Die Happy, Once Dead) on guitars. We are also extremely excited to bring you the worldwide debut performance of Worldview, the brand new super group featuring members of Deliverance, Recon and Sacred Warrior. Also look for the band’s debut full length album entitled ‘The Chosen Few’ out now!  Also joining the bill on our main stage is none other than Northern California thrashers Join The Dead coming down for their first, and only, scheduled Southern California area appearance.  Rounding out our main stage line up for this year’s So Cal Metal Fest is none other than glam metal sensations Chaotic Resemblance and the long awaited return of So Cal area thrashers Wicked’s End.

If that’s not enough for you, on our second stage, in the Acoustic Café, we are excited to bring you the return of REX Recording artists, Tempest (featuring special guest Rex Scott of X-Sinner and GX Project) in their first show in over 25 years. Also on the second stage a special acoustic performance from So Cal metallers In The Midst which rounds out what promises to be one amazing and unforgettable show. This is going to be one great night of metal that you don’t want to miss, and are sure to remember for years to come!
